In 1998 I had a vibrant idea to have a website online. Why? Because I wanted to teach and share my knowledge with the masses online.
The world was very different in 1998. No cell phones, no social media. But a new technology appeared - the computer! And I bought one which started my journey online.
Sense then, I've created several blogs/websites, taught others how to create a website through the years and continues today.
It's vital to have a website dream. It;s a starting point. T the "why" in creating a website gives reason and direction for its future.

Deciding where to have your website online is important. There are two options:
sign-up for a website at Hostgator, GoDaddy, Wix,, ... they own your website.
own your website, Dreamhost provides an excellent servive and WordPress website platform.
Why Own Your Website
Using
To own your website, go to a hosting service like Dreamhost.com. You'll pay an annual hosting fee but they give you the WordPress website platform.
Initially, the WordPress website is "naked" and you design it. There are no templates. You have the option to choose a theme.
